Living In Cabo ("we," "us," "our") is a real estate marketing site operated in partnership with Ronival, Baja California Sur's largest real estate brokerage. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use livingincabo.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

- Contact information you submit — your name, email address, phone number, message, and any preferences you share when you fill out a contact form, download a free guide, take our neighborhood quiz, or subscribe to our newsletter.

- Cookies — small text files stored in your browser to remember preferences and measure site performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work but some features may be limited.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry and connect you with a Ronival agent when appropriate.
- Deliver the free guides, checklists, and reports you request.
- Send you occasional emails about new content, market updates, and property opportunities. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- Improve the site — which pages people find useful, which they don't, what to build next.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.
3. Who We Share Information With
We share your contact information with Ronival and its licensed agents so they can help you buy, sell, or lease property in Los Cabos. We also use trusted third-party services to operate the site:
- Follow Up Boss — customer relationship management, stores your contact record and our communication history.
- Resend / SendGrid — transactional email delivery (the actual email that sends your guide, for example).
- Vercel — website hosting and performance analytics.
- Google Analytics — aggregate site usage measurement.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third-party marketers.
4. Your Choices
You can, at any time:
- Unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of every message.
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request that we correct or delete your personal information.
- Opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. How Long We Keep Data
We keep contact records for as long as you remain a subscriber or active prospect, and for up to 7 years after your last interaction with us for tax, legal, and compliance reasons. Aggregate analytics data is retained indefinitely in anonymized form.
6. How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over HTTPS. Contact records live in Follow Up Boss, which is SOC 2 Type II certified. Our vendor list is reviewed regularly. No system is 100% secure — if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. Children
The site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International Users
The site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and Mexico, where our brokerage partner Ronival is based.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify active subscribers by email.
